Baltimore at Tampa Bay

The Baltimore Orioles will head to Tampa Bay to open the 2022 season for both teams. The Orioles were a dreadful 52-110 a year ago. That may make this look like a cakewalk for Tampa Bay, but it is all about pitching. The Orioles have John Means on the mound, and not much else in the rest of the rotation, so this is their best chance of winning, and I don't see that reflected in the odds. Means had an impressive 3.62 ERA last season. This is a clean slate, and while Baltimore may improve some, I think Tampa Bay is also going to regress some. I like Baltimore in this one. Back the Orioles.
