Baltimore at Oakland

The Oakland A's have been slowed down at home where they have dropped four of their last five and the once solid pitching that got them here is betraying them late in the season. They have allowed 33 runs on this homestand which is five games in the making while scoring just 18. Brabdon McCarthy got shelled literally in his last starts, allowing five runs but taking a line drive off his leg and may still be feeling some effects. Baltimore has seen Alfredo Simon holding them in games, not allowing more than four runs through seven starts since joining the rotation. McCarthy on a big slide and his last eight starts as a favorite have seen the A's go a disappointing 1-7. I like Baltimore in this one.
