New York has bounced back to win two straight after losing four in a row and it's tied with Boston for the wild-card spot after a 4-3 victory over the Orioles on Friday night. Giancarlo Stanton homered in the fourth and led off the 11th with a walk-off RBI single. Baltimore has lost six of seven and battling the Arizona Diamondbacks for the worst record in the majors and thus a No. 1 draft pick. The Yankees have won four of Jordan Montgomery's past five starts and he has allowed only five earned runs his past six starts in 31 1/3 innings and he has improved each month this year. Chris Ellis has made two appearances since being acquired from Tampa Bay and given up four runs om seven hits in 7 2/3 innings. The Orioles are 16-36 their past 52 games versus left-handed starters and 17-53 overall as underdogs. Take the Yankees.
