Sabathia has been ordinary or worse since having arm issues last season, has lost location and a few miles per hour off his fastball. He set a career high in home runs allowed last season at 22, and this season already has served up 27. He has never allowed more hits than innings pitched until this year, and his walks are up as well. Baltimore has been the better team this season, and Miguel Gonzalez with a 3.77 ERA on the season has been the better pitcher in this matchup. The Yankees are a telling 1-7 behind Sabathia in his last eight starts to a total of 7 to 8.5, so when there is a quality pitcher on the other side the results have been poor. Play on Baltimore.
