Baltimore at New York

It is apparent early that Baltimore is going to be much better this season. Their 14-8 start puts them ahead of the Yankees in the AL East, who simply have not gotten things going yet, as their starting pitching has been highly suspect. It will also be the Yankees’ first look at Jason Hammel, a situation they have been known to struggle in, and Hammel is enjoying life in the American League. Hammel is 3-0 with a 1.73 ERA, and has already fanned 20 in just 18 innings of work. The same can't be said for Hiroki Kuroda who has started 1-3 with a 4.38 ERA for the Yanks in his first tour in the AL. The Orioles are flying high vs. winning teams where they are a stunning 22-6 in their last 28. Play on Baltimore.
