Baltimore at New York

Baltimore hung onto first place in the AL East with a 9-5 victory over the Mets on Tuesday night as James McCann homered and drove in three runs against his former team. The Orioles are 37-25 on the road while New York is just 34-33 at home. Cole Irvin is scheduled to start after spending some time in the bullpen and the minors and will be expected to go four or five innings for the Orioles, who are 6-0 his past six starts as road underdogs. The Mets have lost seven of eight in Game 3 of a series. The Mets have lost six of 10 while clinging to some playoff hopes.
