Baltimore at Minnesota

Minnesota won its third in a row and the Orioles lost their eighth straight game on Tuesday as Rob Refsnyder homered and doubled twice in the Twins' 7-4 victory. Baltimore's pitching has been downright awful lately as it's allowed 69 runs in the eight losses while Minnesota has scored 23 runs its last three games. Michael Pineda has allowed six runs on 13 hits his last 16 1/3 innings and he has a 2.79 ERA and .204 opponent batting average on the season. Jorge Lopez has been torched for 26 earned runs on 42 hits in 39 innings this season with a 1-5 record. Also, in two day games Lopez has given up nine runs on 12 hits in eight innings. The Orioles are 73-158 their past 231 road games, 99-209 overall following a loss. Minnesota is 36-16 its past 52 games versus .400 or worse teams. Play the Twins.
