The Baltimore Orioles claimed first place in the AL East for a while, but have long since surrendered that lead. While they remain 3 games over the .500 mark, they are just 19-29 in their last 48 games. The Twins have taken a different path and are now 22-20 over their last 42 games, and have certainly been the better team over a long stretch in this matchup. Zach Britton will make his debut appearance in 2012 for the O's who have become pitching desperate, and are certainly in the market for another arm. Britton's track record on the road vs. a losing team is not good recently with the O's at 1-4 in their last five. The Twins have stepped-up of late winning four straight at home vs. teams with a winning record. Minnesota gets the call.
