Baltimore at Miami

Miami finally found the win column at home during this extended home stand covering 10 games. The Marlins dropped the first eight, but won a pitching battle last night with Baltimore when the Marlins scored in the 13th for a 1-0 win. That is nothing new for Miami who has struggled to score runs all season, and will struggle again today vs. the serves of  Miguel Gonzalez. Gonzalez has won two straight, five of his last six, and is off to a great start to the season. Miami counters with Tom Koehler, who has seen his winless streak reach four starts, despite the fact he has a 3.70 ERA on the season. Runs will be hard to come by once again in this contest, and this game fits a situation based in part on last night's pitching duel that has been 516-381 to the UNDER the last 12 years.
