Baltimore at Los Angeles

Talk about two struggling clubs. The O's started strong under Buck Showalter, but have since cooled off, losing eight of their last twelve. The Angels have dropped seven of their last ten. Neither team has been able to score much this season - even during good runs. The Angels average 4.3 runs per game at home while Baltimore gets only 3.6 per game on the road. Bradley Bergesen has had a rough season, but he's showing signs of finishing strong. Over his last three starts he's posted a 3.80 ERA, going 7.1 innings per start. Against this weak Angels lineup, he should find success. Neither bullpen here is that bad, so I expect very little offense. This season, the O's are 49-31 UNDER vs. AL teams that average under 4.8 runs per game and 31-19 UNDER vs. AL teams with an OBP of .330 or worse (LA's OBP is .315). On the road, Baltimore is 31-17 UNDER when the total is between 8.5 and 10. The Angels have gone OVER in their last two games and they are 17-7 UNDER this season after back-to-back OVERs. I like this one to go UNDER the total.
