Baltimore at Los Angeles

The LA Angels’ playoffs hopes are on life support after dropping three of four at home against the West-leading Texas Rangers. I'd be surprised if there is anything left in the tank here with lowly Baltimore in town. The Angels are in a 2-7 rut over their last nine games, and Baltimore is going with Jo Jo Reyes - suddenly under the radar. Reyes failed to record a win in 28 straight starts, but has since seen his teams go even up at 6-6 over his last 12 decisions. Haren is just 1-4 in his last five encounters with the tough AL East, and the Angels have dropped five straight when facing a team that scored 5 or more in their previous game.
