Baltimore at Detroit

Baltimore can't afford many more losses if the Orioles want to catch the Yankees, who are three games ahead in the AL East. The Orioles came one out away from being no-hit last night as they lost 1-0 to the Tigers. However, they have Corbin Burnes on the mound tonight and he has settled down after some rough outings in late August and has allowed only four runs (three earned) his past two starts in 11 innings pitched. Burnes is 13-8 with a 3.18 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP this season and the Orioles have won his past five starts against AL Central opponents. Detroit will likely go with yet another bullpen game as it continues to test its relievers' endurance. Baltimore is 41-32 on the road. Take the Orioles.
