Baltimore at Detroit

What shapes up as an ugly battle to see who gets the #1 overall draft pick next year, it is hard to believe the Baltimore Orioles with 99 losses, are 4.5 games in the standings above the Detroit Tigers. Perhaps more telling is that the Tigers were holding their own through May 8th as they were within a single game of .500 at 16-17. What has happened since has been as ugly as ugly gets. The Tigers are 27-86. Simply put, expanded to 162 games, the Tigers free fall would expand to 123 losses over a 162 game schedule. While Baltimore has had issues of their own, the Tigers' slide has been epic and long. Take Baltimore.
