Baltimore at Chicago

Contreras has won sixteen straight decisions and is 8-0 on the season. He hasn't had the best of outings lately but he's still won. The point being, the rest of his team is pretty damn good and picks him up. Facing him is Rodrigo Lopez who is just 5-9 with an ERA that is nearly double that of Contreras' (6.32). Chicago's coming off a couple of losses and they are too good to lose three straight. They score 5.9 per game at home and 6.0 per game vs. righties overall. Over their past seven games they are just 4-3 but that has everything to do with less than stellar pitching - a problem they won't have today. And, with Baltimore scoring 4.2 per game on the road (15-24 record), great time to back the Sox.
