Baltimore at Boston

The Red Sox won it all last season and with pretty much the entire cast from that team back, a repeat didn't seem too far fetched. They never seemed to find the right chemistry or hunger as they did last year, and they have not been a contender the entire way. They traded their top two pitchers, and have gone with young players, and have struggled offensively scoring less than 4 runs per game. The Red Sox were shutout last night. Baltimore has a huge lead in the AL East, but have their sights set on the best overall record, and trail the Angels by four games in that department, so the work continues. Baltimore owns a 37-17 record in Tillman's last 54 starts, and when the total is 7 to 8.5 they are 22-5 in his last 27. Boston is out of their sweet spot to a total of 7 to 8.5 where they have taken the donut in their last nine at 0-9. Back the Birds.
