Baltimore at Atlanta

The Baltimore Orioles have watched the maturation of Jake Arrieta. The Birds have won eight of his last 11 starts, and overall on the season, Arrieta has allowed 3 runs or less in 12 of his last 14 starts. That poises the Orioles to be in striking distance throughout this one as a major dog. The Braves have gotten good work out of Tim Hudson, who has not allowed a run in each of his last two starts. In spite of that, the Braves lost one of the games and overall are just 5-9 in Hudson's last 14 starts. The Birds are not only 8-3 in Arrieta's last 11 starts, but 5-2 in his last seven starts as a dog. Hudsdon's resume in interleague play is not becoming to a quality pitcher, where his teams show a 3-16 mark in his last 19 interleague starts. Play on Baltimore in this one.
