Baltimore at Arizona

Arizona is 36-32 at home this season following its 4-2 decision over the Orioles last night when Christian Walker and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. each hit a two-run homer for the Diamondbacks, who have won eight of nine home games. Baltimore is 1-8 the past nine meetings at Arizona although this is the first time the teams have met since 2019. Slade Cecconi gets the call for the Diamondbacks tonight and they have won his past three starts and he has allowed only four runs on 10 hits his past 14 2/3 innings and the Orioles will be seeing him for the first time. Arizona is 72-63 on the runline and it currently is tied for a wild-card spot. The Orioles have lost two straight and their AL East lead has shrunk to 1 1/2 games over Tampa Bay.
