The Washington Nationals have been a hot team and they just went to Philadelphia and completed a four-game sweep of the team with the best record in baseball. That is in part the reason. The Phillies have nothing to play for and were no-shows, and probably will be until playoffs time, resting players and getting their rotation set. This is another matter altogether. The Braves are only two games in front of St. Louis for the wildcard chase, and won't be laying down here. Tim Hudson is a 15-game winner backed by a 3.19 ERA, and the Braves are 5-0 in his last five starts with five days of rest. The Nats ride into their return home where they are just 1-7 in their last eight as home favorites of -150 or less. This one goes to Atlanta.
