At 50-35 on the season, the Washington Nationals are going to run away from the field in the NL East. They suffered a setback last night in a game that was delayed by rain for over two hours. I think they will be charged up for this one, and they have a top-of-the rotation pitcher on the mound in Max Scherzer who is also red-hot. Since May 21st, Scherzer has stepped on the mound eight times, and opponents have scored an average of 1.88 runs per contest. It will be a tough spot for the Atlanta Braves in this one, as they send RA Dickey to the mound, who has allowed five runs or more in half of his starts, and his three starts this season against Washington, have seen the Nationals average 5.67 runs per contest.
