It has been a tremendous season for Felix Hernandez, but he has to work hard to earn a win every time he takes the mound. Despite a 2.01 ERA on the season, the M's have lost eight times behind Hernandez this season. They have also dropped each of his last two, as the offense has to scratch and claw for runs more often than not. Alex Wood has been more than adequate for the Braves, pitching to a 3.30 ERA on the season and is more than capable of matching Hernandez against the pedestrian Seattlle offense. The M's are just 4-8 in their last 12 games, scoring 2 or fewer runs in 8 of the 12. The Braves have been one of the best teams in MLB off a day of rest where they are 36-17 in their last 53. Seattle stands at a surprising 4-13 in Hernandez' last 17 home starts vs. a winning team. Make the play on Atlanta.
