Atlanta at San Diego

The Atlanta Braves got off to a very fast start and remain a big surprise at 35-25 now past the 1/3 mark of the season. They are facing a not so good San Diego team at the wrong time. The Padres are playing their best baseball of the season, and routed the Braves 11-4 in the series opener, pounding out nine extra base hits. The Padres have made great use of a 10-game home stand by winning six of their last seven, and a win tonight or tomorrow will have them taking all three series on the stand. The Braves may be a bit depleted off of winning three of four at home vs. Washington, and now on a six game West Coast road trip. The Braves are just 24-62 in their last 86 vs. the NL West on the road with a -35.9% ROI. Take the Padres.
