Pittsburgh goes for its third win in a row after defeating the Braves, 11-1, on Monday night when Ben Gamel homered twice and drove in six runs. The 11 runs were more than the Pirates had scored in their previous seven games combined. Chad Kuhl starts tonight, and he has allowed five runs his last three starts, covering 16 1/3 innings. Kuhl has done his best work at home where he has a 3.45 ERA and a .212 opponent batting average in 15 2/3 innings this season. Atlanta is just 1-4 its last five games as a road favorite and 1-7 overall versus teams with .400 or below winning percentages. The Braves still haven't been .500 the entire season, and Pittsburgh has won four of its past five home games against teams with losing records. Take the Pirates.
