Pitcher Max Fried was forced to pinch hit after Atlanta ran out of position players on Sunday and hit a walk-off single to win the game over Miami. Fried gets the start tonight at Pittsburgh, but he hasn't been too successful on the road this season as he has allowed 11 runs on 23 hits in 18 innings, and opponents are batting .329 against him away from home. The Braves are only 17-20 on the road and Pittsburgh snapped its six-game losing streak with a 2-0 victory over Milwaukee when Kevin Newman homered in the first and Wilmer Difo had an RBI double in the sixth for the Pirates. Atlanta is 1-6 its past seven games versus teams with .400 or worse winning percentages. Take the Pirates.
