The Mets’ offense appeared to get healthy scoring 23 runs in their last three games, but the Atlanta Braves are not the Pittsburgh Pirates. They scored a total of 10 runs in a four game series in Atlanta just a short while ago. Before the Pirates series they scored 8 in a three game series vs. the Phillies. The Mets have struggled all season to produce runs, and I expect that to continue now that the Pirates have left town. The Braves are simply not the same team on the road, and their last road trip, they scored 2 runs or less in four of their six games, and that was Florida and Pittsburgh. The Mets, vs. a winning team, have been 38-17-2 to the UNDER in their last 57. These teams are a perfect 8-0 to the UNDER in their last eight played in New York. The UNDER gets the call in this one.
