Atlanta at New York

The Mets loved what they saw from Dillon Gee to start the season. They went 10-0 in his first 10 starts, as he pitched way above expectations, earning a spot at the top of the rotation. Those fortunes have since reversed, and the Mets have now won just five of his last 13 starts as he has hit the wall, and struggled often. Atlanta has the bats to do damage here to support Julio Teheran who is still an unknown quantity. The Mets have had issues vs. good teams as they are just 2-9 in their last 11 vs. a winning team, and Atlanta has been their nemesis for a long time. The biggest gap here is the bullpen. The braves are one of the best ranking No. 4 in baseball, while the Mets no longer have a closer and rank No. 26 and falling after dealing F-Rod. Play the Braves in GAME TWO OF THE DOUBLEHEADER.
