Atlanta is coming off two wins in a row after beating Cincinnati 7-2 with Freddie Freeman collecting three hits, including a two-run homer. The normally light-hitting Braves scored 16 runs in the two games against the Reds. John Gant will make his second start of the season after allowing two earned runs and four hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Cubs. None of the Mets hitters have faced him. Matt Harvey has turned it around after a rough patch, giving up just two runs his last three starts but he has gotten little or no run support from his teammates. Harvey has a 4.61 ERA at home and in 10 2/3 innings against the Braves, the right-hander has allowed five runs and 15 hits in just 10 2/3 innings this year. There is huge value with Atlanta in this matchup, so take the underdog Braves.
