Where have you been Ben Sheets? Sheets has a 1.41 ERA in his five starts for the Braves this season and is impressing in his first action in the majors since 2010, a great find for Atlanta. Sheets made his fifth straight start since being called up from Triple-A Gwinnett in Monday's series opener against the Phillies. He allowed one run on seven hits over 7 1/3 innings in the 6-1 win. Not having a lot of innings on the arm of the 34-year old veteran is a big plus. Atlanta is charging hard at first place Washington, just 4.5 games out while winning seven of the last nine games, including three in a row. In fact, the Braves are 18-5 in their last 23 games following a win and 18-5 as a road favorite. Atlanta is 34-21 on the road while the Mets have a losing home record. The Mets are on a 8-21 run and 5-15 in their last 20 vs. a team with a winning record. Everything has fallen apart for this team, including starter Jonathon Niese, who is 1-2 with a 5.21 ERA his last three starts. The Braves are a perfect 7-0 in the last seven meetings, a trend that continues tonight. Play the Braves!
