Atlanta at New York

The Atlanta Braves have seen their young talent emerge sooner than anticipated this season. They are a contender, which prompted them to go out and get Kevin Gausman before the trade deadline to bolster their rotation. Gausman will make his debit with the Braves tonight at home vs. the NY Mets. Gausman may not be the answer as the Orioles were just 6-15 in his 21 starts, including a woeful 2-11 in his last 13 starts. Wheeler was considered trade bait, but the Mets opted to keep him. Wheeler has been the best Mets' pitcher over his last four starts with the Mets winning them all, and opponents scoring just 10 total runs in the four games. Play on the NY Mets.
