Atlanta at New York

Atlanta was supposed to be rebuilding, but has been far better than anticipated, including 5-1 on the road. The Braves are 8-1 as a road underdog and and 9-3 as a dog anywhere. Atlanta is 4-0 against a left-handed starter and faces southpaw Jonathon Niese. Niese may have a terrific 1.59 ERA, but it's not indicative of how he's pitched, allowing 20 base runners in 11 innings. Opponents are hitting .314 off him. New York has other problems, too, placing All-Star third baseman David Wright on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring injury along with catcher Travis d'Arnaud (broken right hand), as well as reliever Jerry Blevins (left forearm fracture).
