The Atlanta Braves drew first blood in this series with a 4-3 win last night in the opener. I still think the line value goes with the home club here, as since opening the season 12-1, the Braves have been a .500 team. The Royals have fewer losses at home than the Braves do on the road. Atlanta sure hasn't embraced the role of a small to mid-sized favorite, as they are just 1-6 in their last seven as a chalk from -110 to -150. They are also just 2-6 in their last eight interleague road games. The Royals have taken four of their last five as a dog in the same range from +110 to +150. I like the value on the home dog here, so take Kansas City.
