Atlanta at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers were knocking on the door of .500 until they rode into June with a nine-game losing streak. Detroit snapped out of the funk last night, 6-5 in extras vs. a good Atlanta team. The Tigers are in the AL Central which is still pretty much wide open. The offense has come alive after producing three or fewer runs in eight of nine games, racking up 11 runs in the past two games. The Braves are heading in the opposite direction as they have now dropped two straight games following a seven-game winning streak.
