Atlanta at Colorado

The Atlanta Braves have not been in the playoff equation in recent years, and were projected to win just 68 games this season. The Braves are out of the gate swinging and come into play vs. the Rockies at 5-2 to start the season. The Braves may not have the pitching to sustain themselves long term, but right now the bats have been very loud, delivering seven runs or more in five of their seven games to start the season. A hot line up in Coors Field can certainly do a lot of damage and continue to make noise, as the Rockies found out last night with the Braves piling up eight runs. The Rockies are 5-2-1 to the OVER to open the season, despite playing seven of those on the road, and with a lineup tailored to the hitter-friendly Coors Field, look for both teams to be putting the barrel on the ball in this one. There's not a lot of pitching on either side, and the Braves' bats in the role of an underdog have been delivering early. Take Atlanta and the OVER in this one.
