Atlanta at Chicago

Atlanta cruised to a 8-0 victory over the Cubs with Max Fried throwing six scoreless innings on three hits and now Chicago has to face Bryce Elder, who is 8-2 with a 3.18 ERA and he is coming off two good performances allowing only three runs on eight hits in 13 innings against Milwaukee. Elder has pitched even better on the road this season where he is 4-1 with a 2.85 ERA and only one Chicago batter has ever faced him. Javier Assad will likely pitch just two or three innings in what appears to be a bullpen game for the Cubs, who are only two games above .500 at home. The Cubs have scored an average of 2.15 runs against the Braves the past seven meetings. Chicago is 27-41 at home following a loss the last two seasons. Atlanta is 33-17 on the road. Take the Braves.
