Atlanta at Chicago

Atlanta had the day off after winning five of six and increasing its NL East lead to 11 1/2 games and the Braves now go on the road where they are 32-17 and Max Fried will make his first start since May 5th after being sidelined with a strained left forearm. Fried was 2-1 with a 2.08 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in five appearances before going on the injured list. Chicago will go with Kyle Hendricks, who is 1-3 with a 4.22 ERA and .283 opponent batting average at home and Atlanta hitters have feasted on his pitching with a .368 batting average and .672 slugging percentage. The wind will be blowing in from center field at 12 miles per hour and the Braves have gone UNDER three of their past four games while allowing a total of only four runs and they have given up just 11 runs their past seven games.
