Both the Cubs and the Braves have had slow starts. The Cubs came up on the short end of the series opener last night 5-2. It was more of the same as the Cubs bats have not come out of a winter slumber in the early going. The Cubs bats have produced a woeful 15 runs over their last nine games. That has led them to a 10-2 mark to the UNDER during their last 12 games. Fitting to the total here, just two of those 12 games would have made it over the total, last night's game included. Just one of their seven home games has made it OVER the total and with just an average of 6.5 runs being scored at Wrigley per game this season, I see value on the under here. The last five games the Braves have played here have seen four fail to get to the total. Make the play on the UNDER.
