Atlanta at Baltimore

Baltimore is on a six-game win streak while allowing only nine runs, including a 4-2 victory over the Braves on Wednesday when Colton Cowser hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth inning. Cole Irvin will try and keep it going today and he is 6-2 with a 2.87 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. Irvin has allowed only four earned runs his past three starts in 17 innings pitched and he has a 1.48 ERA in day games giving up just five earned runs in 30 1/3 innings. Atlanta has lost five straight and it has scored only two runs the first two games of this series. The Orioles are 6-0 in Irvin's past six starts after allowing two or fewer runs their previous game and the Braves have lost five road games in a row.
