Arizona at Texas

The Texas Rangers came up a bit short last night, as Robbie Ray pitched his best game in a Diamondbacks uniform in his short career. Despite countless key injuries to their pitching rotation, the Rangers have certainly hung in the race when no one thought they would be able to get out of the basement. They get one of those starters back tonight in Matt Harrison, who had spinal fusion surgery last season, and will be a welcome addition to the rotation. Arizona has been disappointed in the efforts of Jeremy Hellickson who carries the burden of a 5.06 ERA into this contest, which would translate much worse if pitching in the AL with the DH. Hellickson has made five career starts against the Rangers without posting a win, and is in an unlikely place to get things turned around in this one. Take the short price on Texas.
