Arizona at St. Louis

St. Louis goes for a sweep over the hapless Diamondbacks after winning 3-2 on Tuesday when Nolan Arenado broke a fifth-inning tie with a two-run homer. Arizona has lost three in a row and six of seven and on its way to one of the worst seasons in Major League history with a current 22-59 record overall and 10-35 on the road. Kwang Hyun Kim has not pitched as badly as his 1-5 record indicates and he has a respectable 3.54 ERA in six home starts allowing 11 runs and just three home runs in 28 innings. Riley Smith has started five games and given up 37 earned runs on 72 hits in 58 1/3 innings and he has a 6.33 ERA on the road. Arizona is 9-27 its past 36 games against left-handed starters and 16-35 versus southpaw starters on the road. St. Louis has won five of the last six meetings. Play the Cardinals as my MLB Max Play.
