Paul Goldschmidt is making his presence felt in St. Louis. The slugging first baseman is single handedly beating the Cardinals. His 14th inning single two days ago was decisive, and yesterday his grand slam put the Cards away for good. Goldschmidt is 19-for-46 (.413) with 17 RBI over his last 11 games. Ian Kennedy has not lost a game since May 5th, and beat St. Louis in his season debut. The D-Backs' lineup has not been slowed vs. good pitching, in fact they are now 8-0 in their last eight vs. a starter with a WHIP of less than 1.15. Arizona also holds an 8-2 mark in Kennedy's last 10 starts on regular four days of rest. Arizona has done well against the Cardinals at 5-2 in the last seven meetings, so play this one on Arizona.
