Arizona at St. Louis

Arizona had won two in a row over the Dodgers before being stymied by Dakota Hudson and the Cardinals on Thursday while losing 8-3. Madison Bumgarner will try to get the Diamondbacks back on track, and he is off to a good start this season allowing only two earned runs in 18 innings. It's the bullpen that has been letting him down, but he'll look to go at least six innings in this one. Adam Wainwright has been inconsistent so far for St. Louis, and he has allowed nine runs on 26 hits in 21 innings. Wainwright had a bad April in 2021 when he was 0-3 with a 4.08 ERA, and in one start against the Diamondbacks, he gave up four runs in five innings. St. Louis may have won last night, but it didn't display any power as all of its 15 hits were singles. Play the Diamondbacks.
