Arizona at San Diego

Things were supposed to be different for this San Diego team this season as they spent a lot of money fortifying their lineup and rotation. Things just didn't pan out for them, and they will once again sit out the playoffs. Arizona will also be on the sidelines come October. San Diego is giving another look to Casey Kelly, who made a brief stint back in 2012, and will see if he has matured into a big league pitcher. The Diamondbacks attack has been slowed by right-handed pitching where they are 2-6 in their last eight.
