Arizona at San Diego

Arizona goes for its first victory of the season here, and it will start Zac Gallen, who had a 2.81 ERA in 2019 in 15 starts, including seven shutout innings against the Padres. San Diego will counter with Garrett Richards, who pitched in only three games last season after coming back from an injury, and he allowed eight runs in 8.2 innings. The Diamondbacks are 16-5 their last 21 games versus NL West teams, and they have won eight of the last 11 meetings.  The Padres still have lost 20 of their last 28 games dating to last season, and they are 7-22 their last 29 games against right-handed starters. Also, San Diego is 3-11 its last 14 against teams in the NL West. Look for Arizona to avoid the sweep. Play the Diamondbacks.
