Arizona at San Diego

Madison Bumgarner is a true ace and this will be his seventh time in his career he is named the opening day starter. San Diego made a splash acquiring Yu Darvish and Blake Snell to the rotation and Darvish will get the start in their opener. Darvish may not be the pitcher he once was and the numbers say so. Prior to the 2018 season, Darvish saw runs scored against his team average of 3.17, but since then his team is just 27-25, and the runs scored by opponents in his starts have climbed to 3.90. Bumgarner is a better pitcher and grabbing him in a game that requires a multiple-run win against him is a tough situation. Make the play on Arizona on the run line.
