Arizona at Milwaukee

Arizona lost its 16th straight road game on Saturday when the Brewers won 7-5 as Christian Yelich and Omar Narvaez hit consecutive homers in the eighth to clinch the victory. Milwaukee has won eight of its past nine games and is now tied for first in the NL Central. It won't get any better for the Diamondbacks today as they have to face Corbin Burnes, who has pitched much better than his 1-4 home record indicates as he has allowed only 11 earned runs in 34 1/3 innings at Miller Park for a 2.88 ERA this season. Caleb Smith will make his third start for Arizona, and he has given up 16 runs (14 earned) in 38 innings. The Diamondbacks are 3-15 their past 18 games after allowing at least five runs their previous game, and they have lost seven straight after scoring five or more runs their previous game.
