Arizona at Miami

The Florida Marlins have the lowest payroll in baseball, but the way they started the season, they sure didn't show it. The Marlins roared out to an 11-1 start and shocked the baseball world. Reality then set in and the lowest payroll in baseball has played like it since. The Marlins are just 7-20 since, and as a favorite just 3-9 – they really should not be posted as a favorite at all. Chris Volstad started hot, but like the Marlins, he has been ineffective of late, and his career track record vs. the Diamondbacks isn't good, entering with a 6.75 ERA against them. Doug Davies has pitched very well all season for the Diamondbacks, so I look for the D-Backs to get the win here. NOTE: THIS IS A GAME ONE PICK IN A DOUBLEHEADER.
