Arizona at Miami

Arizona continues its nine-game trek a long way from home. The Diamondbacks concluded a disastrous 10-game homestand with a 3-7 mark and were outscored 20-5 during a three-game sweep by National League West-rival Colorado over the weekend. They continued the wretched play with yesterday's 7-4 defeat at Miami. The Diamondbacks are 15-36 on the road against a team with a winning record. Arizona starter Rubby De La Rosa has a losing road mark with an inflated 5.68 ERA. Miami is home and heating up, winning eight of nine, and nine of 12. The young offense has been clicking, scoring 38 runs the last seven contests. Miami ace Jose Fernandez has 40 strikeouts and only 14 walks in 28+ innings as opponents are hitting .228 off him. The Marlins are 29-13 in Fernandez's last 42 starts, including 24-4 at home. He is also on an 18-1 run at Marlins Park. Take Miami.
