Arizona at Los Angeles

Los Angeles has made a habit the past decade or so of cruising through the regular season and then crashing in the playoffs and it got off to a similar start on Saturday when Arizona knocked out Clayton Kershaw in the first inning on its way to an 11-2 victory in Game 1 of the NL Division Series. The Diamondbacks already were off a two-game sweep of Milwaukee on the road and they are getting hot at the right time while getting great pitching. Arizona has allowed only seven runs in three postseason games and they have Zac Gallen going tonight and he is 17-9 with a 3.47 ERA and 1.12 WHIP this season. Gallen has allowed only four runs his past three starts in 18 1/3 innings and he has a 3.48 ERA and 1.09 WHIP in his career against the Dodgers. Bobby Miller has a 1.42 WHIP in two outings against Arizona. All the pressure is on Los Angeles to not get eliminated by a wild-card opponent as it did against San Diego last year.
