The Dodgers own the best record in the Majors at 35-17. In May they went 20-9 and sit atop the standings with an 8.5 game lead. Tonight they get back their opening-day starter in Hiroki Kuroda who went five and two-thirds in his first outing, allowing only four hits and one run. Billy Buckner brings his 7.16 ERA into this one for Arizona. The bad news for him is that he shouldn't expect much run support as the D-Backs are averaging a lowly 3.8 runs per game on the road this season on .214 batting. Given that the Dodgers produce 5.8 per contest at home, this could be a long night for Arizona. Los Angeles is undefeated this season (10-0) when facing teams at .460 or worse. They are also 11-1 at home when the total has been set between 8.5 and 10 and 18-4 as a home favorite. Los Angeles is the obvious choice here, even at this price.
