Arizona at Kansas City

You have to pay attention to  teams that get the money as a dog and the Royals are 4-1 in their last five games as an underdog. Kansas City has turned things around, winning five of eight games, including a win over these Diamondbacks yesterday, 7-3. They face an Arizona team that has a losing record and is a long way from home wrapping up a seven game trip. This Arizona offense just hasn't clicked like last year, ranked 15th in runs scored and 18th in slugging. They've never faced KC righty Nate Adcock (2.51 ERA), who has good control and a sparkling ERA. The Diamondbacks don't do well against weak teams, at 5-11 in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a home winning percentage of less than .400 and 3-7 in their last 10 interleague games. Meanwhile the Royals are 5-2 in their last seven against a team with a losing record, so grab the hungry home dog. Play the KC Royals.
