Arizona at Kansas City

The Arizona Diamondbacks will have their ace on the mound when they square off with the Kansas City Royals tonight. That ace may be drawn from the bottom of the deck however, as Haren is simply not the same pitcher on the road as he has been at home. Over his last 53 road starts, his teams actually have a losing record. Despite his 36-21 mark over the last three years, his teams are still under .500 on the road. The Royals have played well at home, winning four of their last five, and in interleague play they have been one of the best at 21-8 at home in their last 29. Overall, the Royals have been banking the greenbacks for their followers as they have been 8-2 in their last 10 interleague games posted as a dog. The Diamondbacks have had lots of problems keeping momentum as they are now a woeful 7-20 after a win. I like the home team here and going with the Royals.
